Description

The first time I found a lady's slipper orchid (Cypripedium calceolus) I was overwhelmed by the enthusiastic emotions of my uncle who eventually found this orchid for the first time just like me! So I went shooting like a crazy guy and afterwards I found out the composition was far too simple. Shooting images off center adds usually to the composition, to give it depth, make it more interesting. So I decided to crop this one rigorously and here you see the result. Composing square pictures is somewhat harder but in this case I thought it added to the composition.
