Description

Looking down from Hohes Brett (2338 m, 7671 ft) to the other side with clouds coming and going the late snow emphasized another aspect of composition. As you can see there is a diagonal that adds to the tension in this picture. The depth and the slanting rocks make you want not to slide down here. I definately don't want to get any closer to the edge. There's a real sense of height with the clarity in the foreground and the slight mist haze in the distance. Kastakan

i think ,it's also the opposition between white snow (closer) and the green valley (far) which adds tension! Good photo indeed, but for me the best were these with crocus.

It is the kind of photgraph where you are happy to have viewers who love beauty and are curious about high places and never have to answer the business question "What is the purpose of the this photograph?"

Great compo indeed... some tiny humans halfway the slope would make the scale more recognizable... make the shot even more majestic!

The diagonal certainly adds tension as I feel it pulling me into the image. A wonderful effect!
