Hello!  I'm Dave, an American living among the mountains of central Japan. When I'm not teaching English, I'm rendering (and wishing I had more time to render). I work with Poser, Daz and Lux through Reality.Â
Poetry, history, astronomy and science fiction are my other great loves. My favorite thing about life in Japan is a flowering shrub called kinmokusei. Every autumn, for about ten days, tiny blooms appear and emit the scent of orange; orange as it must have been the day it was first brought down from heaven. Then they're gone again for an entire year.Â
Cherry blossoms get all the attention for their bright and fleeting beauty, but I find kinmokusei far more subtle and, therefore, far more beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by and glancing at my renders. Comments are always welcome!
Â
Take care,
Â
