Relax. We have a full time staff. Don't jump to conclusions or anything. :) Just kidding. We got your email yersterday and today. You are being emailed your links. Any other problems send an email. Sorry any inconvenience. We get 100's of emails a week. Some important some not. Either way it is clogging everything. Sorry for the back log. I know the weekend is upon us but wherever you can give us more than 24 hours to respond that would be great. :) Enjoy her. Anton Daz3d.com

No we get tons of Poser Tech stuff like: How do I apply maps? What is a MAT? Poser isn't working? I lost my file? I'm stuck on something.... Can I....? stuff like that. Also alot of mail gets misdirected. People send to all the emails or to the wrong one and that slows things down alot too. Techsupport gets really swamped. We try to get to evenyone but it just builds up. It's time consuming for a company to do tech support for another companies program. But we do try to help people. You have to understand something about the website. There really is no store software you can buy to handle the type of things we have all become accustomed to. Both Bondware(here) and our software is custom written which is Godly expensive and time consuming. When we swtiched into the Platinum CLub the new software went into effect because we out grew the old software we were using. The software also allows brokers to track sales, etc. Problems people have can be caused by a unique problem only they get. That is caused by browsers, etc. But all in all our software allows customers alot of capabilities. Although rare, corrup or broken download installers can be cause by a downloading error somewhere. So not everyone experiences it. Shopping online is always going to be a bit more glitchy than walking into a store. But the more features we have to pay programmers to write into the software the more expensive products will be. And obviously noone considers that an option. :) Anton

Anton, Now that you mention about getting in touch with the correct department, where should I write about a problem of missing morphs on the V3 Bikini? The full body morph for Glute TopFull is there but not the corresponding morphs on the body parts so nothing happens when I use that morph on Vicki3, she pops out of the bikini back there :)

I can't conform or look into it myself but I will forward this info for you and have them look into it. If that is the case an update will appear on the product page. Otherwise I'll respond back to you.

Ok, thanks!

Mesh_Magick ( ) posted Fri, 10 January 2003 at 9:30 PM

Ok thanks I got the file, Now I read the faq on your website and the one included in the setup program for v3, I really did not catch how injection morphs are done,is this a poser 5 feature? Or can it be done in poser 4 and if so how? Also are vicky 3 head morphs compatible with vicky 3 from vicky 2?

Mesh_Magick ( ) posted Fri, 10 January 2003 at 9:32 PM

Also are vicky 2 head morphs compatible with vicky 3 ? I dont think the body morphs would be because it looks lie you added more polygones in the joint areas of vicky 3. But are the head morphs from vicky 2 compatible? Also will you be doing this to Mike and the milly kids?

Mesh_Magick ( ) posted Fri, 10 January 2003 at 9:33 PM

Oh yeah I see where you got all that e mail, since Vicky 3 is new and works different.

Crescent ( ) posted Fri, 10 January 2003 at 9:37 PM

Injection morphs are handled by P4 just like P5. It's a cool trick that rbtwhz figured out. The morph information is actually in another directory and the morph injection files load that information when you click on the injection files. This allows you to load only the morphs you want. It can take a few minutes if you load every freaking V3 morph. If you have a few morphs that you use all the time, you can always load those morphs into the V3 figure and then save that as a .cr2 file for convenience. V3 to V2 can use V3 head morphs. V2 head morphs are not compatible with V3. Different meshes. I haven't tried V2 body morphs on V3 to V2, but I doubt it would work. Hope this helps!

PheonixRising ( ) posted Fri, 10 January 2003 at 9:54 PM

Yeah what she said.... :) No the morphs between V2 and V3 are not compatible. Part of moving forward.

I emailed 3 times about a few purchases I made and did not download,I got no answer, please help! Thanks.

Spit ( ) posted Sat, 11 January 2003 at 1:23 AM

Yeah...wow. Guess you have to get real squeaky anymore. LOL Way back on the 6th I mailed about a loft purchase that has a totally different/wrong item in the download. You'd think they'd consider that important. I wrote to sales maybe I should have written to someone else?

Crescent ( ) posted Sat, 11 January 2003 at 10:34 AM

What might help us is if we could get a clear definition of which e-mails to send to which addresses. Who do we send to if: we get a bad download? we see a web site mistake? we have a question on a product? Thanks!

Anton, I think that DAZ would do well if they have a double layered page, so you have to read through a short FAQ to get to the contact link. Also a link to poser resource sites BEFORE your link would be a good idea. And lastly, a note to remind the user that DAZ is a busy site, and questions not directly relating to purchase/DL issues might be more quickly answered elsewhere. When I had DL issues with V3's face morphs I waited patiently for over a week for a reply to my email. (it turned out that my ISP ate the first reply. sigh) I kind of figured that you poor guys were being slammed with questions :) At anything other than major product release time, DAZ has had amazingly fast and accurate tech service. I wish Corel and Adobe were as good sigh Lyrra
