Thats right, someone needs to hand me a sledge hammer because it just isn't sinking in. I am STILL having conforming problems for clothing that I make. I would have made heaps of clothing freebies by now if I could just get over this one hurdle. Geep, how bout one of your fantastic tutes? Ok, I tried to make this pair of pants conform to Bishonen body type 2. I saved out the body (zeroed) as the dummy and modelled around it. I can import it into poser and as long as Bishonen is zeroed it fits like a glove. As soon as I try to make it conforming I get this kind of mess. I have tried various cr2's from mikes wardrobe but it all does the same thing with a vew variations on bits flying away. Anyone out there that wants to take a stab at conforming this mesh please reply here or email me at tauranoxx@hotmail.com my main email is down at the moment but the hotmail one works ok.

Could the problem be due to the fact that The Bishonen figure is a morph for Michael versus a new mesh? Could The Tailor solve this problem? I was thinking of making clothing for the Bishonen figure myself, and would like to know what I might be coming up against. Thanks for the help Steve, and please DO post the result of you finding here.

Shouldn't be Ron, i may be way out here but i think the fact that hes slimmer should make setting up the Spherical zones easier, but then looking at the pics maybe not....either way it shouldn't matter i've done them for heavy mike and a younger Vicky 2 and it wasn't a problem, what is a problem (with a heavy figure) is the joints are set up for a normal mike so you do get a bit more poke through with a heavy version, but its not so bad to put you off....Taura hasn't been in touch yet, but if she does i'll let you know ASAP..Steve

thanks for replying, sorry I didn't get back sooner but my main email is still not working and well a girl has to sleep LOL. OK, I will send the mesh to you Steve, a BIG thankyou. Give me a few moments to sort out which is the most current version of the mesh and to catch up with a few replies :)

Steve, email sent :) I have been playing with this myself and tried to take it back into the setup room and Yscale the bones for the thighs and shins, this seemed to make the flipper and knee spike anomilies go away. This is what I am up to, I don't know much about adjusting the joints for clothing or really how much to yscale the bones, just pushing dials here, but this is a bit better. I hope I am on the right track.

Taura, what you need to do is add mike and zero him, then apply the body morph, then select body and turn the stretch legs back to zero.....now build the pants around this figure then cut and use the mike pants cr2 as your base (from the clothing pack).....in poser add mike then apply the body pose and then add the pants and scale according to the Bishonen read me.....the problem is you had the pants ready scaled so when you apply the body morph to mike it messes up the joints in relation to each other....at first i tried it making a cr2 with pwizard but for some reason mikes body morph was scaling the pants itself and it really screwed it up....having said all that, as the read me states the scaling only works on some poses so i tried saving Bishonen as a cr2 and using that in pwizard, but the rsults where the same so if you want extreme poses its best to turn Bishonen's stretch legs back to zero and use the pants as they are, and for simple posing you can scale the pants......this image is with stretch legs turned to zero...Steve

And this is with his body "as is" and the pants scaled as the read me says....ignore the fact that they are to short and the calves stick out that was just me cutiing the mesh to experiment with and not Taura's or posers fault....Steve

Thanks, it gets so confusing. I played around with it more myself and came up to this point. I am totally hopeless at the joint editor, but it seemed that moving the joint centers around a little helped a bit. But there was still too much poke-thru. I may need to scale the pants down to fit unstretched mike and try your suggestion. Better yet, I will go read the readme, lol (teach me to not read the readme!) Maybe if I do that and load the stretched pants as a morph target? ugghhhh I have been playing around with this all day, I think its time for me to turn off the computer and take a break watch a little tv. Gundam Wing is coming on soon anyway :))) Thankyou so much for helping Steve :))

I think if you scale them in poser it might mess it up more (ifact i'm sure it will :o)....i think all you need to do is adjust the shins to match up with an unstretched mike.....if it had been a normal figure you'd have been spot on coz your modeling and cutting was perfect, its just his scaled body parts that messes it up ..glad to help ;o).Steve

ok, here is the results. I think I am going to leave it at this and start working on making a map for them. As you can see by this picture, there is still a little bit of poke thru in a few areas although no where near as bad as before. I think that would be solved by making the hip/buttock/thighs invisible underneath which most people do anyway. The figure on the left is with the Bishonen bodytype 2 stretched and all with the pants conforming. The one on the right is with the thigh hidden. Now this pose is a pretty drastic pose from the original P4 action pose library for the dork, but I wanted to try it out. Do you think this would be passable for a freebie? I mean is this amount of poke thru ok?
