how much of them should be buttocks? Like how do you do the crotch area. Or do you just divide the pants into thirds with the hip down the centre and the buttocks on either side but not in the crotch area? I mean its quite squizzy in the crotch area. Hehehe thanks for answering, sorry to add more questions. I might do a quick pic of what I mean .....
Might be better cut like that but really you need to cut it the same way as the model, so you'd be high at the sides on the front so the hip would look like a thong if you deleted the buttocks and the back needs to be almost ALL buttocks, hide the buttocks on Vicky in poser and rotate her you'll see what i mean....BT these are pants!.....Steve
??? be they pants or a rubber ducky... :P poser doesnt use buttocks to conform..that is it dont use them for alignment of the body parts when the model is conformed. It does use thigh. In fact, its hard coded in poser. (Kinda like where you cant put a child on a foot other than a toe..if you do, poser renames it to toe) The buttocks addition will most likely not cause any problems..so it probably doesnt really matter which you call it in this case. :) BT
well I just thought that it would be buttocks because the thigh parts didn't match the mesh. But then I thought that if you moved the thighs that some of the buttocks move with it too, like in the fall off zone or something. To be honest I have tried making my last pair of shorts with no buttocks and the mesh just splits between the hips and thigh parts when conformed so I usually add buttocks in. I don't know why it does that, but like I have said before, I really don't know what I am talking about so I could and most likely be wrong.
