Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 13 6:58 am)
I've used Bryce for a while, now trasferred to Vue. As far as render time goes, I think Vue is little faster then Bryce. But, I didn't really compared it in that perspective. As far as ease of use goes, Vue is way better then Bryce. Even in options wise. I've been using Vue Demo for quite a while, posted some images also. Recently baught the full version and I have to say I'm happy with it so far. However, Vue has a little stability problem.
Umm! It actually doesn't crashes, but it used to freeze up a lot in Demo. Even on the full version it freezed up several time on me. Since, I'm a new user, I'm taking MightyPete's words in consideration. Probably soon, I'll do a fresh installation of Windows, that should stop the freezing. However, the bottom line is I prefer Vue more then Bryce.
I have XP pro edition with the service pack. It's fairly stable too; little slow may be cuz I have so many programs installed in it. Comparing with new technology my pc is little old ... P4, 1.4Ghz & 512 RD ram. I think freezing up has lot to do with runtime environments and plug-ins. Maybe I have one or two of those, which is not suitable with Vue. Afterall you know, there are no such thing as "100% perfect". :)

Attached Link: Bryce versus Vue d'Sprit
Hi, I have been a Bryce user since the first version whenever that was, and recently learned that Corel has no current plans to update this program. I really like what I have seen about Vue d'Sprit and was wondering if there are current or past users of Bryce that have switched to Vue or use both. I am interested in knowing general terms how they compare as far as ease of use, rendering time and if there is much of a learning curve going from Bryce to Vue d'Sprit. I just downloaded the demo version and hope to play with it to see how it compares. Thanks for any advice you may have. Ed Fitzgerald
