I just don't like the light b/g and to prove it I've just changed it back to black. Another thing, the link to IM's just don't work with the new color scheme, ie. it is illegible. On the other hand the link to read new messages is hard to see against the black, I wish I could change the color for these links too. Catlin
nah, i'm too lazy to change it... plus i understand that we're now only allowed to change the background and text? nothing else? at any rate, if they don't give us all the options to what we can change -as if they should care, then they can frankly suck my (and AS sighs right about here) left toe :)

Try bg #1A1615, text color #B5AFAF, that's what MindVision had in mind when designing the logo, check out the linkBryce Forum Coordinator....

If one means "the community belonging to the artists" then "Artists' Community" is correct. However, here I believe the intention is to use the noun "Artists" as an adjective. As one might say, "Printer Manual" (not "Printer's Manual") or, for that matter, "Bryce Forum". So the usage is acceptable. Not that I want to nitpick someone whose first language is - Romanian? - is that right? - but the phrase is "bear with me" rather than "bare with me", which would be an invitation to the nudist camp. But you did say you were way more obscene :)
Such are the subtlties of the english langauge. I heard of a Romanian who, after studying english for 20 years committed suicide after seeing a sign in Leicester Square that read, 'Mousetrap - Pronounced Success'..... If there's one thing I discovered since I began using the internet, it's that Grammer is the 1st thing to go down the toilet....taking of which, I think Drac was going to say something about an ANUS.......

I thought he was in the hermit kingdom..;) Romanian is one of the Romance languages, so it's sort of like Spanish, French, or Italian (not really close, but the same family). As for spelling errors, that's half the fun of the Gallery, the ironic twists improper usage and spelling give some of the pics..;) btw, there's a Transylvania county in NC..;) DAZ, I hear, has a problem with spelling every now and then..but not to single them out..;) (they make up for it in good models..;)

Cambert is missing the point. There is a difference between an adjective derived from a noun and an adjectival noun. "Artistic" is the adjective from "art" or "artist", but that doesn't stop the word "artists" being used as if it were an adjective, and the result is different. Artists' Community = A community, which belongs to some artists. Artists Community = A community for artists. Artistic Community = A community which has the character of artists. As with: Printer's Manual = A manual belonging to someone who works as a printer. Printer Manual = A manual for a printer. Printed Manual = What you seldom get with software these days. In each case we have (i) noun, genitive case; (ii) noun, used adjectivally; (iii) adjective. The meaning is different each time. BTW - Nice place, Bucharest. Ever go to that beer hall thingy with the wonderful ceiling?
Well, you only put one dog in a kennel! And it only takes one dog to ... oh, never mind. Here is Fowler (1998): "Plural attributive nouns, once relatively rare, are now commonplace (appointments book, customs duty, narcotics dealer, procedures manual)". One may not like it, but I'm afraid it isn't incorrect.
I heard a cracker in an American film once (can't say which one of course) in which the lead male said that he was 'gonna DE-VIRGINIZE his girlfriend....' I shudder at the very thought.....

yeah, I might try to knock someone up early in the morning, then later see if they want to go to the beach for a shag-fest. That would make me a wanker (ain't that an old Mazda engine?..;), too right. But I'd just be being cruel to be kind..

Now, bare with me, English is my second language... but isn't it "artists' community?" also, anyone else think that because of the white the whole site suddenly looks a whole lot smaler? like the actual white space, because it attracts attention? m
