You're not alone. I'm in the U.S. and I've had my share of problems both with credit cards and Pay Pal. I think if you scan the forum, you'll see that many people are experiencing problems (others, of course, have had no problems, never had any problems, and don't know what we're talking about). I think Daz is well aware that there are still issues. About all you can do is call/email them and let them know what is happening. They are, I understand, buried in emails due to short staffing so don't be surprised at response delays.
Erm... nope. I live in the UK, and have used both a Debit and a Credit card when buying from Daz. I've never had trouble, except during the short period after I moved, when apparently the address listed with the CC company was for some reason updated for the UK but not when using it for verifying from the US, so it always came back as erroneous and not authorised.
I have had nothing but problems so far. Not one purchase has gone through without numerous emails back and forth from Cindy. Finally, I spoke with her over the phone and she was able to straighten the sale out, but since then I have had more problems. PayPal is supposedly becoming "automated in a few weeks" (whatever that means). But my last problem was with my AMEX credit card which went through on a previous purchase. I sent them a nasty email yesterday. Received an auto-response email saying that my sale went through. But it didn't.
According to my accounts page at daz, i have placed 39 orders. All of them wenth thru with no problem and i got my stuff right away. Daz is one of the best companies I've ever bought from.

Problems I had with using a CC at DAZ went away once I started entering the number without spaces. The only inconvenience i have now with DAZ purchases, is that I can't start an item downloading if another is still downloading. I used to be able to get up to 10 downloading at once, go off for a snack or an errand, and come back. Now I've got to sit there jacking it along from one download to the next (especially texture sets, they take forever). I've stopped buying more than one or two items a week until they either fix it, or I convince myself it's not an infuriating waste of my time after all. Nothing wrong with DAZ's quality or support, they're both superb, but that one thing kinda puts me off them for now.
At end of May when they switched to the new system, it was taking two weeks trying to order and trying with 2 different cards that had worked before. I ended up frustrated and cancelled the non-order. I haven't even bothered to make another order since then. There's some interesting stuff that's come out but I won't order until I see that others aren't having more problems with the current billing system.
Once I took some symbols out of my address, It's been smooth sailing. I usually use a debit card, though I've used a credit card without problems as well.

Since Daz made the changes to their site I am finding it Impossible to buy anything from them without having to e-mail them for help. I must say they are very helpful and I love their stuff, but it is very irritating and discouraging to have such a hassle. It seems that either there is trouble with my card or my address doesn't suit them. Thes has occurred only since the site changes I had no trouble before. I have used the card with other suppliers with no problems. I think the trouble may be due to them putting in NA in the state position instead of the county as I am in the UK. is anyone else in the UK having the same or similar problems ?. If we can get an Idea of the scale of this it might help Daz sort it out. Alex
