I get a screwed up clothing when I conform to Mike! IK is off, and I'm using P4 4.03. Any ideas what's happening. Vicky's conforms ok!

Havn't used it for awhile, but I think you're supposed to parent the figure to Mike, not conform it. It had something to do with the skirt. Do you still have the readme?

Porthos ( ) posted Sat, 02 August 2003 at 11:56 AM

Yes I've read the readme and it does say that conforming causes the shins to over rotate! I guess I must parent the skirt! Thanks!

The skirts aren't meant to conform. The male clothes aren't that great, but the female one can conform if you use the short transmap.

The female one conforms just fine. I'm using on Stephanie Staxx right now. You just need to run it through the Tailor first for Steph though, or the hip/abs don't fit right. Use the body handles (via the shin parameter dials) to pose the skirt.

Thank you! I found that Vicky conforms and Mike's need to be parented! Trying to get the hang of posing it! :P

I find the male skirt rather clumsy, at best. However, you've got it looking /good/.

well its an awkward piece of clothing to begin with ... you're not really meant to move around that much in it

AlleyKatArt ( ) posted Sat, 02 August 2003 at 4:28 PM

True. But it's clumsily built, as well. It doesn't scale, at all, and if you try, you get horribly results. The idea was a good one, but the way it was done wasn't.

hrm, idea floats through my mind to make it into a one piece obj and try it in the P5 cloth room.
