Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 26 9:02 am)
For some perverse reason or other, Poser sometimes likes to switch characters, usually immediately upon loading a new one to a scene. I thought this had been addressed by the Patch, but it has happened a few times since I installed. If this is the problem, change the character names from the default "figure 1", etc., in the Hierarchy Editor.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking. He apologizes for this. He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.
Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
I have recently started using P4 and have come across this problem as well. The best advice i can give is.... Specticles, Testicles, Wallet, Watch. :) no honestly, an ameteur-yet-easy-to-grasp way to do it is since you have two characters, pick one. go on, it isnt that hard. now, move that one to where you want it to be. For the second character, try rotating it to face the same way as the first, then use the "X/Y/Z trans" dials to position him. then make the little alterations. Im sure a pro could do it quicker and easier in about 5 min, but id rather (ok ok no i wouldnt :) be the one to say, "all in a nights work!" ..->[ aMP-3 ]<-..

I have to characters in my document window (girl and boy). Everytime I select the girl and try to make her move the boy moves. What am I doing wrong?
