don't know 3ds max but here's my uninformed guess anyway... when you made it an editable mesh it could have changed it somehow? try: set up your shapes make it a mesh export as object change point of pyramid export as object using a magnet inside poser would be easier, but I'll bet you probably want to learn to make morphs with max. Right?
Do not have ANY options selected in Poser Import. Unless the mesh you wish to use the morph on is identical to the morph (except for what the morph does) the morph will not work. If you must alter the mesh on Import, use that as your morph stock. You may be able to salvage your morph by Importing it with identical settings and then Export it as a morph target and apply that.
