Looks good. Nice and mysterious. The only thing I can see is that it needs a focal point or center of interest. You have that massive twisting branch thing on the left, and then you have some cool plant guy over there to the right, and I want to look at both at the same time. Maybe a character or something between them would help solidfy the composition?
I like this. It looks like a walk through here would cut you to shreds.

It just occurred to me that a dinosaur off in the distance, fading into the mist would probably work well in this, and give it a focal point.

This looks cool as it is.... However I do agree that something mid screen would give a nice focal point. Don't get rid of the fog.... it gives it a super mysterious feel to this image. And you are right in saying that this image has some potential... It has lots of potential. Looks great so far. I am sure anxious to see the new render you have going when it is done. The black and white idea could really add to this. Nice work Doug. 8)
