Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 13 7:49 pm)
If what you're saying is that you imported a render from Vue to use as a background in Poser, fine, but you appear to be claiming to have exported a Vue scene (including that tree) to Poser. That's not possible. If you've figured out how to do it, by all means, let us know how it's done. It will be major news to a lot of people. Perhaps I've misunderstood something you wrote? Why would you want to export from Vue to Poser, rather than the other way around?
Vue is very much worth having for lots of reasons, not the least of which is that you can import Poser scenes into Vue, which for most purposes makes a lot more sense than doing things the other way around. graphicnovel, I appreciate your response and of course you're right that I should check e-on. I just found it odd that seeklight claimed to have imported everything including the atmosphere into Poser. So far as I'm aware, Poser isn't equipped to import Vue atmospheres, at least not P4/PP, which I use.
I don't know how the sky and atmosphere are imported but I know it works with max, maya and all objects together with terrains and trees can be exported.....sooooooooooooooooooo...... still there's a diference between vue and vue professional wich costs around 500 bucks... once again check the e-on site to find out more.... hope it helps vince
Hey guys ok here it is.. the scene exports as a 3ds file format ie in this case ground tree and the atmosphere gets exported as a atmosphere box well its called a sky box to be exact. it exports the bmp map also now when you import it to poser you have to resize it all as the tree is very very small compared to the skybox, and to get the tree to the size it looks real compared to the size of your figure, you have to scale the whole scene up and over like 8 to 9000 in size. some trees and plants will not import as they are just to big in file size. i will try adding some mountains to the next one and il post screen captures for you all to see regards seeklight
