How big are your maps? For something this big you are goung to need a pretty big map, 3000 x 2000 pixels at least. The DPI is meaningless, as is the size of the template you make in UV Mapper - it is the actual maps that have to be big. Also bear in mind the limitations of trans mapping a single surface mesh - if an area is transparent, what is going to show underneath?
