Wonderful; looks mighty comfy for the Freak! By "dynamic", do you mean that it is only for Poser 5 users? What about a conforming version just for Poser 4? My copy of P5 is still sitting on the shelf (waiting for a stable "final" patch). :-( Some suggestions: for the "sleeveless" tanktop look, smooth the edges around the "arm holes"; it is too "squarish" right now. Would love to see the "unbuttonable" version too. Love the texture on the bottom right!
Thanks Arendar! Yes, dynamic means it's for Poser 5. Too bad you're still waiting for that "final" patch!! The first installation right out the box was "bad", but after the serial releases it works pretty fine for me!! It has so much more possibilities with the new material-editor and I fall in love with the dynamics!!:) The new included renderer is much better too... I agree with the smoothing around the arm holes, but was still checking if I would get stretching somewhere or not. I was also thinking of adding the tanktop separately perhaps. Then no arm-dynamics should have to be calculated, although the tanktop looks quicker dynamic now then without the armpieces. And about a conforming version for P4... I can think about it, but then I'd like to know if there's enough interest.. I'll do my best!:)
Hi, I've got poser 5 but I haven't got into dynamic clothes because I do all my rendering in Vue Pro, and I don't think it would work without complicated things and a software called mover which I don't have. so anyway I would buy the poser 4 version and maybe also the poser 5 version later if I can figure out dynamic clothes in vue properly. Love esther ps those clothes look great!!!!!
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
If you make stills in Vue, you can export the obj.-file of the clothes to Vue, just like you export a figure! You can calculate the dynamics in P5, choose the pose/frame you want to use in Vue, and export 1 frame of the cloth-piece. You only need P5 to make the calculations of the dynamics. You can render in any other programm you would like!! Glad you like it!:) Thanks for letting me know!
Oh, so does that mean the clothing would be on the freak or would I have to export separately? The sizing thing would then be an issue. The other thing is, there's a feature of vue pro that I really like. When I import a pz3, and then I look at it in vue, and I realize I need to change something eg a pose, and I go back to poser and do that, vue notices I've changed the pz3 and asks me if I want to use the next one. Well the figures get re - imported, same size same place in vue only with the new pose. Im not sure how the clothes thingy would go with that. Love esther

Hi Esther, I'm not sure, but I think for Poser 5 you need an upgrade from your mover to be able to import a P5-pz3-file. As far as I know, you must be able then to import the clothing on the figure too... When you calculate the Dynamics in P5, in every frame the clothing will have a different position (look at the animation). You can choose any frame to export. I have no experience with the feature you talk about unfortunately. If you can only import the whole animation with mover, you should have to get rid of the other frames before saving the pz3-file... When I export a Poser-figure for 3ds max, I export it in separate pieces. Separate head, separate body, separate eyes and separate clothing.. It all fits perfect in 3ds max... as long as I export as obj.files in the same way. The only thing perhaps is the file-size... When you want to open a pz3-file with a big (high-polygon-count) figure, an animation AND clothing, perhaps the file-size is too big?? Only experience could learn perhaps? I'll update here the newest version I've made of the shirt in a couple of minutes....
Hi, well you're probably right but I don't have the latest mover as I only do stills. So I guess I'm one that would really prefer a conforming version of the clothes. However, I've got a feeling I'll like the clothes so much I'll probably go and buy those dynamic ones anyway, even though I haven't even tried dynamic clothes in my poser 5 as yet. Love esther ps maybe this will inspire me to try dynamic clothes and find a way to get them into vue pro.

Oh, forgot to mention: I smoothed the edges around the "arm-holes", like Arendar suggested. You cannot see it here because of the texturing. And Hi Esther again!! Well, like I said, I fall in love with the dynamics...:), so I don't have a clear objective mind anymore, I'm afraid... Thanks for your enthousiasm! Makes me feel good you like the clothes much! :) Byebye! Sil Ariaans
Hi,'well that does show it can be done! Looks good too. Thanks, and thanks for IM too, as I'v ehad some computer probs lately so I would have missed your post. I'll play with dynamic clothes and see what sort of luck I have. BTW I like torn and non torn both too. Love esther
