Yes, I also agree, and it is way to early for this kind of thing for me.....and who in their right mind would watch some chick come out of their TV....I would be so outta there.....you would see smoke on my heals....you did a great job, this is a perfect reflection.....I am now outta here....to freaky. Yep, Sadako ... watch your TV, you never know what might crawl out of it. Looks like the scene from RingO - Birthday, where Sadako stands at the cliff and suddenly transforms into her evil alterego. You gotta love the way she moves ... hehe.

Hey, SergeantJack! How are you! I must be living under a rock or something :) The original Ring movie (Japanese) put me to sleep - maybe I was tired? LOL Anyway, with the right helmet and sword this reminds me of the godess Athena who threw her hair in front of her face in order to slay the Gorgon, Medusa, so that the sight of her face wouldn't turn her into stone! How's that for completely OT!
That's Joy G., a very nice girl I dated during my freshman year at high school. I don't know why you people are talking about movies and saying mean things about Joy. She liked brushing her hair forward like that when she was in a silly mood. As you can see, she favored relatively plain dresses for the proms.
Hey, great response. I agree with Eowyn...I thought the American remake was much scarier than the Japanese originals. It's just hard for me to get scared watching something really low-budget, and the subtitles kind of detract from the mystery. The image IS patterned more after Sadako than Samara, though...I thought the scene in Ringu 0: Birthday when Sadako comes for the two women in the house was quite scary. BTW...great alternate interpretation, Kalypso. Hi!
I had seen the American version then saw both versions on PPV with my 3 sisters while they visited. We all had a big laugh at one scene in the Japanese version, the well scene. Our comment was that they HAD to change that in the English version as no American woman would stand for a man to insist she haul up all that water while he got the easy job, and her life was on the line. We all agreed that he got what he deserved for making her haul up all that water. LOL
