Tyger_purr - hehehehehehehehehehehehehe!
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
Nah, it's not long enough... to be interesting. :innocent grin: Actually I was wondering the same thing about the number just last night. Product codes usually have more information in them than simply the specific product and the sequence of purchase. A company doesn't need to know if you were buyer #20 or #2067, but knowing if you have the German version or patched version or bought the downloadable version might help with customer service. At least if I was assigning codes, there would be information to be gleaned... if a customer in Germany or Japan was using the English version, and tech support knew it, it might save them from making a stupid assumption or giving wrong directions. Now this is getting depressing.
That was a fun thread.
Too bad.
Now I suppose that someone will have to threaten to go away forever....or something. Isn't that the accepted/expected tradition in such cases?

No, I just sent off $20 to an e-mail spammer for it. Course they don't warn you about the side effects. Have you ever tried dressing P4 man without turning certain things off? I reckon he's been buying from online pharmacies...
The meaning of life? It's encoded in your drivers license.
In fact is: it IS your drivers license. That's why it's so difficult to commit an auto-crime so serious that THEY'll take it away. Posession of that license is an essential part of convincing people that they are free. If THEY make it difficult enough to find the bars, people won't notice that they're in a cage. Mind you, how THEY thought THEY'd get away with dressing Agent Smith up as Lord Elrond I do not know. Sheesh, obvious or what?
Anyhow, I'm going away forever now, at least until Tuesday.
John
Dressing Agent Smith as Lord Elrond was nothing compared to seeing him as Mitzy. Green is NOT his color! ;^) (A friend loaned me "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" because she knew that I liked "The Lord of the Rings" and thought that I should see Hugo Weaving in a more expansive role. He is actually very good. Under the humor, there are some serious questions about humanity and inhumanity.) Carolly
I avoid comedies. (My sense of humor is very dry, witty, and a tad sarcastic... not at all mainstream.) but this was a funny movie. I might have seen this for the costumes (the guys sewing in the bus reminded me of too many WorldCons where the costumers would bring their machines and be up all night sewing), but being straight, I wouldn't have checked out the racks in the gay/lesbian area. Sometimes putting things in a niche can be counter-productive. I've bought games that I never got around to playing, and there are stacks of unread books. When the mood strikes, they'll be at hand. I had the interesting and surreal experiance of seeing Priscilla for the first time at a lil theatre in Chelsea (NYC) during Stonewall week. I would have been hard pressed to tell the audience from the actors. I still have to say that the line regarding 'Just what Australia needs ..." (which I can't finish here lest I get scolded) is opne of the best bits in the movie.
