I would suggest looking in freestuff to see if you can find a more realistic texture for the figure, although I don't think she looks all that bad to begin with. But, I do see where her skin is sorta mono-tone. I usually start my textures in Bryce with a Diffusion of 100 and an Ambience of 15, to start with and work from there. It's not very often my Ambience goes over 15. Radial lights can be sensitive when close to an object, you can always raise it further up, and probably have more of a margin for the intensity. If you haven't already, try playing about with your sky settings (save your original Bryce file first), and experiment with moving the sun control about a bit. You're probably finding that the bits of your figure you really want to be seen the most(her face for instance) are being shadowed by the rest of her. If you change the angle of the sunlight you may come up with a better compromise. Alternatively you could move the figure, if you want to keep the sun the way it is. Also, more haze in the atmosphere setting will have the effect of lightening shaded areas without upping texture ambience. If she was done in Poser with a default skin texture, spending a few dollars on a decent set of textures should improve her realism. If you have already got a good texture on her, it may be that the high ambience and the bright radial light are leaching all the detail out of it.
AgentSmith, Used your suggestion on the ambience. Also noticed that the transmap for her was opposite of what Bryce usually uses, so inverted that and got it looking better. Also, moved the radial up and that helped tremendously. Thank you so much. judyk, Also took your suggestion for the sky settings. Made it a nighttime picture as well which improved matters for me. Thanks to both of you for the help. It did wonders. Did have to change the background and remove the trees. Bryce started objecting strongly to having 7 trees. Also removed one of the cottages and replaced with a distant mountain. The new version is posted and titled MOONLIGHT ESCAPADE.
