Guitta is an inspiration and a great artist who unselfishly gives her time to fellow artists. I am sadden to hear the news about her illness.

Guitta, my heartfelt wishes and thoughts go to you and your family.

I'm really sorry to hear this :-( It was not a long time that I followed the forum here while Guitta still was moderator, but I really valued her great contributions. It was indeed one of her pictures that made me breathlessly say "If this can be done with Vue than that's exactly the software I must have!" when I came across her website. And it has really brought me lots of joy that I trusted her enthusiasm and bought it... I'm really thankful for that and my thoughts will be with her and her beloved ones.

I'm so very sorry to hear this. Guitta's artwork and tutorials were truly an inspiration to me as a new Vue user. Her advice and presence at Renderosity will surely be missed here. --Dennis

I will be praying for her, I so admire her work and supper tutorials. I at age 27 had stage 4 breast canser of a rare and nasty kind, it was as big as a golf ball and had spread some, I had bone marrow transplant w/my bone marrow and more stuff, this bought me 3 yrs before it showed up in my back and they gave me cemo + herceptin. The herceptin I continue to take fights new canser cells by starving them! I am now 39 and wanted to tell my story to spread hope.

I am in shock, that is horrible news. We didn't always see eye-to-eye on Vue, but I always found her kind, passionate, and incredibly helpful. If anyone is reading these posts for Guitta, I just want to let her know that I am praying for her and will keep her in my daily prayers. I will be thinking about her often.

Thanks for sharing her contact info Nicholas.

This is shocking news. I lost my Husband to cancer as well as his Sister shortly after and it really saddens me that someone as talented as Guitta should be experiencing this horrid disease. She is an inspiration to all Vue artists. I'm so glad she is surrounded by family and friends. My thoughts are with her.

Guitta, When I first started out using Vue your web site was so extremely helpful to me that, had I not found it, I don't think I would have continued with the program, which I have now used so long it seems like a part of me! While this is not probably so important at this stage of your life, I want dearly to have you know how effective your efforts at sharing your knowledge and experience have been with the myriad of users who tried to follow your brilliant lead and that you are truly held in very high regard by people you have never met. I want to personally say: Thank you, Guitta! Godspeed! Larry F(uller) on Renderosity
