Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 27 10:59 am)
Well, it's not designed to sort things into P5 groups, but DialMagic is probably the closest to what you describe. It allows you to hide and reveal groups of morphs for V2 and M2, and is sold at DAZ. I don't know if P5's group nodes can be injected via pose files, but it'd make an interesting experiment.
Well, I hadn't even thought about how I wanted it organized. I was kinda hoping someone had already gone through this process and generated a template with logical groupings (eyes, ears, expressions, etc.)
I'm vaguely aware of blank channels but I've never encountered them.
It sounds like it's just as easy to do it manually if there are no existing templates. Thanks anyway.
Give me your email address via Instant Messaging, and I'll send you some Group pose files that should do what you want. I've got the basic morphs from the V3 Head Morph pack organized like the pop-up lists on DAZ's product page (Entire Head, Features, Eyes, Ears, Nose, Mouth, etc.), and you can turn the groups on/off at will, even before you inject the morphs.
If you like, you can beta-test it for me.

I just upgraded to Poser 5 a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised to find that one of the workflow improvements is the ability to group morphs into categories in the parameters panel. Doing this for every figure is very time consuming though. Is there a one-click solution, like MAT/MOR, that will group the default morphs for V2, V3, M2, & M3 into basic categories?
I searched the forums and Freestuff but the search engine here is very, uh, "limited".
