The propack setup room and poser 5 ones are exactly the same, so any setup room tutorials you find for propack will work in poser 5, too. There is a good and fairly simple tutorial at daz arcana (at the link) for making figures using the setup room.ok xantor, i appreciate the info, but, that tutorial doesn't teach crap. not trying to personally attack anybody, but its poorly written, from the steps taken to bad grammar and its not even really doing anything. its using an existing bone structure. it says nothing about creating one from scratch. i've lost faith in most of the tutorials at daz. i've read several of them and the majority are really bad, from spelling and grammar to what it is they're half-assed trying to teach. it seems like most who post tutorials there are just throwing up anything to get the free 25 bucks out of daz. does daz even read the majority of the tutorials on their site before they post them? grr... e.d.

I disagree about the daz tutorials but here is the link to dr geep`s figure making tutorial.Redundant questions: Does Dr Geep have a ________________ tutorial? Is it excellent? Does the sun rise every 24 hours? Does 2+2=4? Does a bear poop in the woods? Is the Pope Catholic?

Would you believe I got more ot my answer from reading through the Poserpros Forums than Tutorial Arcana. Due to my disability, I cannot read through long, technical tutorials. I have to break things up, practice through hands-on, or find a direct answer that is short and sweet... Daz is not the place for someone like me.
Thanks Geep. 8-) I don't want to insult anybody. There are some good tutorials at daz, but there are SOOOO many more that are so badly written, it's just... sad. which is why i said, and will say again, it seems more and more that the tutorials there are written by any and everybody just to get the 25 bucks. When I'm looking for tutorials on how to learn something, learning the short cuts can be nice. but that's not really learning how a feature or room works. I'd much rather read a badly written tutorial that teaches how to make something from scratch, than I would a perfectly written tutorial on how to "borrow" a file and modify it to make another file. That's not learning how to make the file. so to read badly written tutorials on how to borrow files to make other files, grrr. that just irks me even more. E.D.
I received this respectful but scrawled note on my rural woodland doorstep, and was asked to pass it along to the much-revered Ockham, (without whom we would have all perished in a python-scriptless hell long ago, may the Lord find favor on his soul). Dear Ockham, While it is relatively common knoweldge that the pope is Catholic, it's none of your damn business what I do in the woods. Signed, A Bear (P.S., I have my doubts about the 2+2=4 thing, but as I woodland creature, I'm not inclined to comment on this field.)
