I don't know but this guy does.More power to him/her.
There are three different ways. The proper way is the way in the link PhilC has pasted here. You can also do it by morphs. I think that was the way the tracks on the Chariot by lwanmtr here in the marketplace was done. The last way is for low poly gaming models, and that is to animate the texture to simulate tracks moving.

You can make real moving treads (endless chain belts), but you need to edit the .cr2 code after setting up the figure. The above thread contains a brief explanation and a link to an example model (http://www.atlantis23.com/tracks64.zip). However, the code is quite complicated. The other thread (ShowMessage=1499769) discusses one of the problems. The simpler methods suggested by Helgard are usually a better solution. I'm writing a tutorial which covers endless chain belts and many other ARC code examples. Unfortunately, it's a lot of text (and about 200 pictures and more than 20 example models as far). I hope it will be ready next year. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Our own cookies make user accounts and other features possible. Anyone know of any way to create tank treads in setup? I have some tank models I want to use in poser. Anyone know of the basic process how to do this or a tutorial that would cover it???
