I think the 3rd one would propably not suit the theme..but the others just might. have a look at the 'Medal of honour' video games for an idea of good low poly ww2 buildings..or watch 'Saving private ryan' only in this job can we play games and watch movies & call it resource collecting :o) Cheers Stefan

I just watched the EXCELLENT "Band of Brothers" series on the History Channel. I would personally rate this series as the BEST WW-II docu-drama ever made. The realism and precise historical details are astonishing! Its even better than "Saving Private Ryan" if you want a more in-depth look at soldiers, combat-- and there are lots of French, Dutch and Belgian village scenes in it- nearly all carefully re-created and shot in the U.K. at an old RAF airfield...Attached Link: http://www.hbo.com/band/landing/currahee.html
Here's a link to the original HBO website- which premiered the series a few years back. There are more very good production details here also...Top right (post 1) doesnt look so much like a house as it does a church. Bottom right is close, but still not quite right -- the windows are too chunky. You want something vaguely Gothic (architecturally, not lifestyle), and out of all of them, that seems the closest. But I'd still clean it up a little: increase the size of the window mullions, give the door a proper lintel. But keep that roof -- that's real close to the real thing.

Slaps forehead. I have Band of Brothers, and never thought to check that for details. Thanks for all the replies. I am almost finished with the model. It's just a low poly background house for a much larger scene, so I didn't need to go into interior detail and such, but it's looking good. Will post a pic when I have textured.
