Hey AS, now that you're back, it's time to put you to work. Quite some time ago, you posted a thread that was almost a mini-tut on blurry transmissions. If I remember correctly, you had a series of cube or cylinders each at a different specific halo (I think). Anyway, I can't remember and I can't seem to find it in the archives via search. Do you happen to know where it is? Thanks.

I didn't make that one, I'll look around, see what I can see, I don't have anything on transmissions in my bookmarks. AS

Hmmm. Coulda sworn it was you. I'll have to keep digging, too.

Did a search for blurry, came up with a ton of stuff for TA, & Sub surface scattering. Not for BT though. Ornlu has posted on quite a bit of tech stuff too.

I've seen a Bryce tut (may be at Daz) about placing primitives in front of the camera, and turning them into lenses..probably not the same thing..

I once had a problem with blurry transmissions but,.......oh wait, that was something different,......nevermind.

This was one a tut or demo that came out just after the release of B5.

One thing I find with BT is that you need a big res for them to work well, much like DoF.
