Not often enough to solve your problem, when you click on the tech support button select vue 4 professional (from the pulldown) and "an issue not listed here" (from the second pulldown). Ignore all the common solutions and click "continue to knowledge base" and do a search (for anything, it doesn't really matter). Once you get to the next screen ignore everything the search brought up and click on "contact a technician". This finally brings you to a form you can fill out, usually they answer the next day. I know, it's the most useless annoying system I've ever seen for getting an actual technician's help but it's what they've got.
Put missing cd's in the search of the knowledge base and got this.... Query: select *, match(message_synopsis, message_content) against('missing cd's') as score from message where (message_inknowledgebase = 1 and message_categories like '%Support~Vue 4 Professional~an issue not listed here%') and (match(message_synopsis, message_content) against('missing cd's') >= 0.707) order by score desc limit 0, 2 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's') as score from message where (message_inknowledgebase = 1 an
~Their system for customer support is inadequete. Their products are good, but their lack of accessability will be their undoing.~ They don't even have their own forums. You have to come to other websites to find anyone who is using Vue. I never seen such a poorly supported product, excluding Windows that is. Dale

Only have to be e-on registered to access it.
Plenty of people in there...
At least you don't get to pay $125 to get support, such as in other companies.
Cheers.

I think MySQL hiccuped on your search term, it contained an apostrofe, which is used as the string delimiter in many SQL dialects, including MySQL. Lousy server side scripting, it should strip illegal chars from the search string before submitting the query to MySQL... Alas, not an unusual mistake in PHP driven sites.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

Oh yeah, this is what broke it: "('missing cd's')" three single quotes (apoostrophes), unterminated string! Amazing isn't it, I've accidentaly hacked into the servers of two of the worlds biggest software companies recently - not going to say who, I value my freedom - by innocently typing terms like that!
This is what I got in reply when I contacted support at e-on. Hi Marque, It is really surprising that you haven't got the 2 extras cds... To contact someone of our support team, go on the page http://www.e-onsoftware.com/Support/ and then click on one of the button in th page, in your case "contact a sales representative" or "contact a technician". You will be able to write someone. But as it is a problem of ordering, I think you should contact orders@e-onsoftware.com and explain you problem, let an adress, and they surely will send you "new" cds. Regards, Matt
