In the beginning no one new what would happen. But we always new that a lot would cast away from this life and yet in the chaos to come. no one would see the light of hope to fill the sand fulled sky. _____________________________________________________________ Created by using bryce 5 and wings3D... I like the planes a lot, and like the way you can't really tell the shape of the robots except from the shadow. The ground is a kinda boringly flat, same goes for the texture on the ground. I've just noticed that the robots are coming out of the crates, it might be interesting to have more of them moving out of the crates, rather than scattered around the picture. There are a few objects and shadows that are unexplained.

Agree with pog. Terrain could use some interest. What's with the flying ramp in the upper left hand corner? For that matter the crate in the upper right has something funky going on. I think that's what pog's mentioning about unexplained objects. Keep at it.

landing craff's... Ok a bit of infor on the seen... This is a small pic on the landing craff's... They are very large but they have to be for the job they do. They are used to transport the box's that hold the mech warriors. From the battle station that in space to the surface of a planit.. Once at the planit they drop the box's and after the door has open the mech warriors will walk out of the box..

you can start with the Planes and Terrains material section, stock Bryce stuff. One cheat I use is to create a terrain, duplicate it, and rotate the duplicate by x degrees (you fix the number). Same for trees, etc. Fast, and occasionally effective. You can change the textures on the trees, one vs. another, or use the Tree lab to change types, just to give it some variety. Just a thought.

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

hey, that terrain is pretty damn cool! If you increased the resolution of it (grid over on far left hand side of terrain editor) to massive resolution, then increased the size of the mesh hugely once back in the work area, and flattened the mesh down quite a bit on the Y axis.....it'd look really great.

I wish I had the amount of time to spend in Bryce that you do. I'm envious. Just a thought, the mech's legs look backward to me. Usually, Bipeds have backward knees.

  • agres with bandolin -

put some nice and shiny texturs and change the POV to something dramatic, like on the ground at the base of the mech, looking up
