Accurate, historically based props. No more "slutty stuff" period! Sorry Dave-So :)

  1. Photorealistic male textures. 2) Old 1930's row houses, with front stoops and sidewalks. 3) 1930's living room like on the Waltons. 4) Art deco anything. 5) Short male hairstyles. Conservative business style.

Some more male models/clothing not neccessarily aiming at the villiage people crowd. (and no I don't mean all gays!) some Sci-Fi/ Action clothing for M3. (Liquid Halo and Veronica are getting lonley!) More Male hair.

lol @ dlk30341 i agree...i dont see women dressing like that either! thankful for that.. i'd also like to see more real life stuff. i really want a poser treehouse. the ones i have seen are too fantasy looking. but i loooooove cartoon characters and worlds. i have enough clothes, too. but if there was a good pair of stylish baggy jeans, for mike 2 or3 i'd buy them tropical luau things...like a pack to make a little island get-a-way with tiki torches, a tiki shack, tiki gods, tropical drinks, i made a little flash intro for my restaurant before. i'll see if i can find a picture of it. but i looked everywhere for these type of items, and could not find, with exception of the tropical drinks.

There's also a "cozy island-type getaway" in the marketplace.

I've bought this one, myself.....but I haven't had a chance to use it yet.

You are certainly welcome. Yes, there might be more stuff like this..... Here's a beach house. But it's a little fancier than your standard cabin.

Here's another.

This one's pretty fancy, too.

You might want to search the marketplace on topics like "beach"; "beach house"; "shack"; "surf", etc..

Enjoy......wish I was on the coast. A little south of my current latitude, that is.

i did a search for those strings but the items were not available when i was looking for them around july of 2003. we were described by a food critic in a review as "earnest and strange" still don't know if that is good or bad, lol and, "hybrid between island eatery, suburban watering hole, and key west flophouse." so it is mixed with lots of tropical stuff. i ordered the products and cannot wait to play with them. i found lots of surfboards before and they worked great. i wish i was on the coast too. i feel really land-locked.

I have to echo Midnightposer - a male version of the Liquid armor sets would be awesome. For that matter, male versions of the various scifi/anime armor things would be wonderful. And anything new by Gorodin - last I heard the real world was interfering with his making new Poser stuff, and his Concord sets are some of my favorites!

animajikgraphics ( ) posted Tue, 25 January 2005 at 1:55 AM

More scifi - sets, buildings, props. Like to see some stuff done with less grunge and more 50's retro (ala Jetsons, Buck Rogers style), tho I like the grungy stuff too.

They don't have boring mundane lives like the rest of us. They are millionairs or prisoners. they're soldiers. They get wounded and end up not only in hospital but usually in intensive care and sometimes (when the bullet has to be removed) in operating theatre. They often (as in many many novels) get forced to operate just outside the law. They hide in basements, leap across rooftops, absail down the sides of buildings in burglar atire. They deactiveate alarms and explosives. They wear bullet proof vests. They crawl along ventialtor shafts to reach their goals. They crack safes. They fight. They box and wrestle and do martial arts. They try and blend into a crowd at times in their efforts to escape their enemies. Some are tough - like the freak, yet still want to kick back and enjoy themselves at home in normal clothes. Yes I agree entirely with XENOPHONZ post. Lab equipment etc. Love esther

True.

Poser people are the hollowed-out virtual containers of our fantasies. They can be what we wish that we were. Reflections of glory -- like we have never actually seen in real life. Or they can be extensions of our own bitterness. We can project whatever we like onto them.

On the other hand, they can also be electronic Barbies......with no particular meaning at all. Or perhaps just a way to help pay the rent.

"pay the rent" -- that's pretty mundane. I think that I can hear Victoria and Michael calling me.........
