Actually I think Vue renders everything better than poser...... except the hair (I'm not sure why poser put that dark area at the hairline), Poser makes it look silky, smooth and fine, while Vue makes each strand thicker and puts hash marks in them as if each strand was a braid. Not the effect I want for that hair. btw I had found that tutorial before, but forgot about the shadows, I tried that as well as increasing the anti aliasing settings and got some improvement, but still find the strands thicker and with the hash marks to some extent.

Has anyone had any luck with getting Vue to render Poser 5 Hair without making it look like yarn? (Noisy/Crunchy) No matter what I do I get the "Yarny" effect such as the attached picture. Both the same file rendered using the final setting in Vue, and just normal firefly in Poser. The color issue is another matter, the I can work around that.Umm the URL is:
