This it totally cool (excuse the pun) feel it needs just a little cleaning up around the hedge on the right.
I assume this is 2 pix (summer & winter) If so, I would create a duplicate summer layer and experiment with the opacity settings to get the shadows (in front of the bench) on top of the snow layer. This would make the pix blend together more and add to the realism (IMO).

I think what I'm trying to here is to teach myself how to be more focused on the whole image.. I find when I do postwork sometimes I'm so focused on something I really like I forget to look at the rest of the image.. In the forum I don't feel like I'm getting a pat on the head.. You people call them the way you see them and it forces me to take a closer look.. So thanks.. I really am trying to find ways to improve my work..
i think even though you have a really awesome concept, these pictures just don't match up. what i mean by that is that the grass is moving away from me at a different angle than the snow (they have different vanishing points). if you can get another picture of the grass at the same (or at least really close to it) angle as the snow, it will be a lot easier to make it look real.
ARGHH!!!! WIERD!!! Hey, but flipping brilliant concept - reminds me of pics I did a few years back which were of an equally warped ilke. The last one I like, and the view/angles work ok for me - but the 'cliff' edges (as I see them to be) could do with a touch of softening right on the edges themselves, and bring that overhanging branch back in to add to the perspective ;-) (",)
Maybe you will have to rethink it a little but to be fair it is a great idea, and it has great potential. Good luck with it.
Thanks . LostPatrol... There's been some great feedback. I been pretty busy the last couple of days so I had to set it aside, but I hope to have another version up by the weekend.. I just want to take a closer look at what I have in photos to see if I can find a better match.. If not I can still work on the original idea.. This is the kind of feedback I was hoping for.. A lot of times I'm throwing something together to post in 30-60min. I have to teach myself to take a minute and really look at what I'm doing before I post. I'll always be posting the 30-60min quicky on occasion, but now maybe I'll double check for the object that wwasn't suppose to be there :) You people have given me a lot to think about. I'll Be BAck :)
