Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 19 7:23 pm)
Lol, for two days we have been asking for this, and no-one can help us. Some specific questions: 1) Does "point at" work correctly with the eyes? 2) The jaw can move side to side. Is this a morph or a bone causing the movement? 3) Can these figures do the "spilts"? That is, move each leg 90 degrees out to the sides of the body, like in gymnastics? 4) Can someone post pics of knee bends, elbow bends and shoulder bends? Are they as bad as always? 5) Is the neck one group, as in Possette, or two, as in Vicky? Anybody?

-Hands and feet now have more ERC features, which in addition to the grasp, thumb grasp, and spread. For example this will allow you to curl fingers through one parameter dial rather than having to rotate each bone of the finger. Also the extra buttox bones in previous characters have been removed, which is more accurate to human anatomy. -Jaw manipulation is by morph. -Neck has two joints. -Strides and splits without adding ERC and JCM's It is very hard to get perfect deformation on hips, Joint deformation I think is something which people will argue about as everone has different standards. best, Jolly :-)
"-Strides and splits without adding ERC and JCM's It is very hard to get perfect deformation on hips" Which is interesting, considering that the new rigging enhancements were given as a reason for the removal of buttock groups from the new figures. I'm going to call up the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to see if making us wait this long to get Poser 6 is against the Geneva convention ;p concentrates even harder on making that truck with boxed product get here faster
" .......cruel and unusual punishment." -- United States Constitution, Bill of Rights So, here comes my "don't know much 'bout riggin'" question.... The absence of the buttock group is an improvement because this rig is more in line with human anatomy, but that means 1) the default jessi appears "under-endowed" in this region 2) people have to get used to posing/clothing-making without a buttock group. Do I have this right? But.....we can still morph the model into having an ample and cute tushy, right? ::::: Opera :::::
Seems as though the foot has two parts, excluding the toes, possibly allowing for flexing of the arch? I also sincerely hope that extreme bending of the thighs will not deform the crotch area of the hip as happens on Millenium figures when the buttocks bend.
Verbosity: Profusely promulgating Graham's number epics of complete and utter verbiage by the metric monkey barrel.

I've seen mention of new rigging enhancements in Poser 6. Could someone please post screenshots of how these work/what they look like, along with any relevant pics of the joint editor? Those of us waiting on boxed shipments would be ever so grateful :)
