No news yet on Cornucopia. Last I heard they were still working on it. Since they developped ways to manage 'virtual' content from Vue and they included that in the manual, I would say they look committed to making that happen. They should have more time to work on it now that the main rush for Vue Infinite is calming down...
"They should have more time to work on it now that the main rush for Vue Infinite is calming down..." Where do you come up with these assumptions? It is very poor logic and as a moderator you should know better. :-) The store is suppose to open in June at least that is what is written in the manual of vue5inf.
I do know better :) this comment was based on the last discussion I had with two individuals highly placed at e-on. I wouldn't have shared it if it was just an assumption :)
Promising something at the time of purchase that is not available for months after the fact is bad form to say the least. I had entirely given up on the Cornucopia thing until I saw this post. Even if they have a good reason, not at least e-mailing those of us they owe is a very bad idea. As a business owner myself, I know what I am saying here. It is not the customers job to contact them about their unfullfilled promise in the sales promotion, It's their responsibility to contact us with a explanation. They are great about technical support, but their customer support is terrible. They owe all of us either $50.00 or the promised merchandise. Like I said, it has been months - not days or weeks - MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I did this same thing at a retail level our State Attorney General would have me in court and would hit me with a large fine for each customer whether I made good or not. It is reasonable to expect what was promised at the time of purchase. How hard could it be to contact the people they owe with an e-mail. Not very!
I thought I had misunderstood the whole Cornucopia offer when I wasn't immediately whisked away to the store after registering. You would have thought that at least there would be a page that said, "Here's your coupon. Oh and by the way, you can't use it because the store's not open, yet!" e-on is a French company isn't it? Maybe that explains their attitude.
"e-on is a French company isn't it? Maybe that explains their attitude." No, that is a bad explanation. You have a funny picture of French people. French companies are not so different from companies of other nations. So even in France we consider this behavoir very strange. It's one thing not beeing able to set up an online store (a task that has never been done before ;-) ) but they could at least tell their customers that they don't need to search for it BECAUSE IT DOES NOT EXIST! Besides I think e-on is a American/French company...

I'm sure this has probably been aired in here before, but I don't have a lot of time to browse through threads. So does anyone know when the Cornucopia site is going up? It's kind of frustrating to have a voucher for a store that doesn't exist. While I know that no one bought Vue5 for the free voucher, it was listed as a perk, and it seems kind of unfair to give a voucher that no one can use...its too bad they don't just credit it to the e-on store...then maybe I could get the Botania plug-in...
