In order to move things, you need to use the parameter dials. Let's say, for instance, that in your scene there is a chair. It defaults in the 0 position, but it doesn't look right there. You want it more to the left. So, you select the chair in your Scene panel, and it will come up in the parameter panel. Select the X Trans dial, and move it to the left. Your chair will move to the left. Also, you can rotate it. The Y rotate dial rotates your figure around the Y axis (the up and down). The X rotate dial rotates your figure around the X axis (which runs from left to right). The Z rotate dial will rotate your figure around the z axis (which runs forward and back). Hopefully, that helps ;) If not, let me know! MS

You can also use the tools in the toolbar - make sure you have the body of a figure selected (the root of the hierarchy, with the figure's name) or the base part (usually the Hip) selected in the Scene palette and you can use the translate, rotate and scale (for scale you need to have the body selected, not the hip or other root part) tools to affect the whole figure or prop.
I've saved these instructions for future use, thanks all.

How do you move things in Daz - apart from the camera? Is it even possible to create an actual scene in Daz? Because if so there must surely be some way to move things from the default position otherwise everything would appear on top of, inside and poking through everything else. Help?
