Trans map? Hmmm. Would I make one of those using the regular tex-map templates? One thing I didn't like about BVH's warrior princess bustier-- they never seemed to use the V2 morphs properly and it fit bulky. He's made his own female figure and designed the suits around her, so...I don't know. What else can I do for this? Other ideas?
Use the regular tex-map templates to make a transparency map, and just use black, white, and gray to set up your invisible and transparent areas. There are also programs that will add V2 morphs into V2 clothes. Tailor is one, I also just bought Clothes Converter but I haven't really learned how to use it yet. There are others. There are also magnet sets available to shape V2 clothes. You could take any V2 bustier- such as one from a lingerie set- and as long as you like the shape, you can transform it into armor. Make a custom texture and use spectacular settings and reflection maps to make it look like metal rather than cloth.
Yes, to make a transmap, you use the same templates. Only you only use two colors, black and white.
I don't own V2, but I'm sure there must be other skimpy armor out there for her. Have you looked at RDNA? They've got a lot of armor pieces there, free and for sale.
Another possibility would be to use V1 stuff, and add the V2 morphs you need yourself. Either with the Tailor, or using magnets.
