Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 30 7:24 pm)
I have used WW to scale adult clothing down to the Mil kids without too much of a problem. Is seems to be better within the groups of figures pre unimesh and unimesh. Changing between the two groups doesn't seem to be so easy... I think because they have differently styled body parts/joints.

I had this problem and Phil told me I must have to smooth all quite a few times, which I tried on one object and it worked, the other one did not and I think that had to do with the above with the mesh and unimesh...unknown though. But the item I did, I smoothed 17 times and then inflated it once and it worked great. Sharen

I have both Wardrobe Wizard and Clothes Converter, and I have been having trouble with the same issue with both of them. I am addressing WW here because it seems to be the easier of the two programs to use.
I can not seem to get larger clothes (i.e. Vicki 3, Michael) to scale down suitably to smaller figures like the Millenium Girls. The size difference seems to be so great that the reduction of the clothes almost utterly destroys the clothing. No amount of smoothing, inflating, deflating seems to work. The best I can usually get is some ragged version of the original model. I've gotten a couple of very simple clothes objects to come out all right (a wrap-around towel), but anything more complicated doesn't work well. I even tried scaling the Millenium Preteen up to a larger size, but got similar results.
Any suggestions/hints/tricks?
Mike
