Stewer, Compiler or Crescent have created some shaders that may do that, and the links are in either Freestuff or one of the old toon shader threads.

i have to explain my plan more in detail. i need the tricolor toon shader for creating a realistic skin shader. in the human skin shading tut for maya (http://www.androidblues.com/shadetut.html) is a tricolor toon shader used for adjusting the color tones of the light, the dark and the middle zone. light and dark have to be totally different colors (orange and blue) - which is unfortunately unreachable with the toon shader from stewer. also, the tricolor have to be smoothed - blended into each other like the spread setting in the poser toon shader. the toon shader is used beauce of its behaviour to lighting. the color for the areas in light can be another than the color for the shadowed areas... in the end i need a toon shader which has three different colors and the possibility to smooth.

Rendered without ToonShader applied. Looks quiet grey.

Rendered with ToonShader plugged into translucence and with the blender node and a small amount into diffuse. The red lined areas have to be adjusted.
