How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

yep...cheery & bright-eyed here! :) kemal and i survived a totally crazy new year's eve working at the restaurant! Every year we work as fast as we can so we can get home to ring in the new year CLEAN and not stinking of seafood, but we never make it!! LOL! On the bright side, we are off work today!!! Yippeee!!! What a miracle!! Off work on the weekend AND a holiday!!! Go figure! It's a most excellent way to start the new year...at home, lazy and relaxed!!! :) Happy New Year everybody!!!!!!!!! :)
I went into London to watch the fireworks at the London Eye...I don't know what was worse, the crush of the people trying to leave or the after effects of a very cheap bottle of Champers I bought...and drunk with my good lady...:P Hope everybody had a good time anyway :) Cheers

--------------- A life?! Cool!! Where do I download one of those?---------------
Made it through ok, started off the morning (just like Christmas morning) with a big beautiful rainbow, which I took as a wonderful sign for the new year, then later today we had a terrible wind & rain storm and the power went out... So...made a big cozy fire in the fireplace and lit the candles, got up close to the fire, put my feet up, and pondered the new year... cup of tea in hand......came to the conclusion... life is good!!!! I'm ready for 2006... whew!!!!!!!! ;)
Still here...kinda...lol. Ow.

Thanks...but nothing special. The last 2 were: tripod mounted, no flash, f/3.5, 6.0 seconds, 7.1mm, focused at infinity, no zoom. Remote shutter release recommended.

I think I was the last one in our forum to see the New Year. Haven't seen anyone from Alaska here yet. So did we all make it out alive? Everyone wakes up all cheery and bright eyed I hope. Everyone here has something special they give to make me believe this 2006 will be a stellar year. Peace!!!!
