Like i said earlier, just got Poser 6... I'm having a problem with it... all the clothing morphs are made null after resaving a character in Poser 6 Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anyway to fix it??

Have you installed SR2?

First thing you need to do is get the service release. (this is true for not just poser 6, but any software. Always get any available service releases. Most software has at least a few bugs in the initial release and the service releases include fixes for some of them).

This sounds familiar to me... May it be that you use "external binary morph targets" (You find this setting under preferences-->misc)? If so Poser will collect the morphs in an extra-file, the name is the same as your scene. As an example: If you save your scene as "My new image.pz3" you will find a "My new image.pmd" too in the same location where you saved your pz3. When I was new to those binary morph targets I deleted some of the pmd-files after rendering and when reopening the pz3 all morphs where gone, I had a standard V3 with standard clothes... But however, installing the service release 2 is a good idea, you'll get rid of a lot of problems.

no external morphs... just the morphs that come with the clothing... Micheal's Gothic Armor, for example.

got service release 2... still the same problem... all morphs on all poseable clothing items, conformed, or in the case of the old costume shop cape, parented. The morph channels are there, and the settings are on one, but the shape of the geometry doesn't change.

Upps... loos like I couldn't express myself exactly enough. Those morphs are exactly what I ment. The "external morph targets" are not the morphs theirself but the settings you give them. In other words: If you turn the "muscular" morph to 0.8 this setting will be stored in the pmd-file. Hope that helps.
