Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 1:33 pm)
My roommate was an extra on Never Been Kissed and met Leelee. Evidently she's about 5'10, very thin and very shy. I would think that the Zygote Nude Young Woman might be a good base due to the soft features and narrow mouth. That or Vicky just because just because there's more points to work with when making custom morphs. And I'd say she is more 90% a young Helen Hunt. I don't see the Jewel in her.
Hey, I like war/prison/action/sci-fi/bikini-carwash movies as much as the next guy, but since my roomate is female, I see my fair-share of chick-flicks as well. Can someone pass the tissues?
Amorphium works great for certain things. Using Traveler's tutorial and the magictriangle it's easy to make morphs for Poser figures, and its best strength is the smoothing tool. It's weekness is you can really only make very general, organic changes because you can't work on vert-by-vert level. Good for getting rid of details, bad for putting in details.
Well, I couldn't help myself. It was like an elephant standing in the room that no one was mentioning. I'm not quite that attracted to Leelee myself (or Helen Hunt, for that matter), though I certainly understand it. It was just something that needed to be said. BTW, as my mind is an endless morass of trivia, I would note that Leelee recently guest edited an issue of Premiere magazine, or Premiere for Teens, something like that, if you would like to read her writing or her interviewing other actors and actresses.
I would also agree. It's speculation on my part, but my theory is that Kubrick really believed the message of the movie. But the message would have been much more powerful had the sex really been prurient. Unfortunately, I think the more you believe in the moral of the story, the less able you may be to make the sex really prurient. A Catch-22, really.
great effort! can you fatten up the cheeks and those bumps on either side and below her lips, like stuffing cottonballs under your lips there... anyone got a brendan fraser model? :) (no harm in asking i hope...) ----- AprilsVanity.com

a sweet disorder in the dress kindles in clothes a wantoness,
do more bewitch me than when art is too precise in every part
LOL, you need to model yourself a cold shower, Anthony. ;-) There was a 17th century Polish king (elected!) called Sobieski, who saved Vienna (and the rest of Europe) from being overun by the forces of Islam, in the form of the Turks (Ottoman Empire). Christian Europe was so grateful, it named a stellar constellation after him - Scutum Sobiescianum, which means 'Sobieski's Shield'. Kind of fitting that someone who played the part of a person who rallied against invading forces is named after someone who did that for real. Sorry, just trying to keep you calm with boring history lessons as you anxiously await your morphs. :-)

Mechanical breast pump. The blue bar on the right side moves back and forth to create the suction. If there was a fill-bottle dial that would be perfect. http://www.medela.com/images/bkgd_products2.jpgLeelee has nothing to do with the breast pump. Sheesh. Much of the reason I chose it was that it's about the only non-organic thing in my home I can't already find as a prop on the Internet. Ideally I'd love to have an articulated model of my silver Saturn SW, but I'm not gonna ask Nosfiratu to do that in exchange for a few hours' work on a head morph. If organics had been on the table, I probably would have asked for a piece of contemporary casual men's clothing.
See what I started (hehehehe) gotta lighten things up around here, sorry it was at duane's expense. I look forward to Ian's posting the character too. I can be patient. So Nosfiratu, do you have a breast pump to use for inspiration? I'm sure we could find sites on the web, or I'll give you a friend's email addy, he used to work for a breast pump company. I can give him a hard time about being unable to model its use :-) GrayMare

At the risk of sounding however I sound, It is with a clear conscience that I state that my current fave-rave actress is Leelee Sobiesky. Something about her in mideval armor in Joan of Arc- Let's just say I enjoyed the movie. And, I think I'm one of the 3 people on the planet who *really* got into "Here on Earth". What can I say, there is just something about her. And yes, I probably do need my head checked. If you've seen my props in Freestuff, you know I know how to make kickass models. But, I cannot draw or model humans to save my life. So: If any of you fantastic figure creators is willing to make a realistic Leelee figure (which does not have to be exclusively for my use), I am more than willing to be that person's prop slave (meaning I will be more than happy to create props given to just that person for them to do what they want, including distibuting them if they like). We would, of course, work out how many props make a fair trade. Any takers? :-) Anthony
