Depends on what you consider hot.  In Phoenix we've been above 110 Fahrenheit for the past 5 weeks and pushing 120 a couple of times this week.

For myself, an occasional beer is good but water, when it's this warm, is absolutely the BEST!

Well, we've had around 30 degrees C (that's something like 86F, which is SCORCHING hot here - considering we're dealing with a humidity at around 90% too)

So hot isn't just hot. You have to consider the humidity as well :o) And I get Phoenix is pretty darn DRY?

And add to that, that I have to wear a uniform at work. A uniform that is (in the SUMMER version) made of 48% wool......

I can tell you, that's H O T!

(heh and the guidelines for hot weather says we're allowed to loosen our ties.... Ohwow!  - and yes I wear a tie, since those silky-like scarfswomen are also allowed are something I've never been able to tie in an even remotely flattering way. A tie is a tie after all!)

Oh and here's a pic of me in my uniform. Just so you can all see how I'm SUFFERING ;o)

I'm lucky we have no dress code at work so I stick to my tatty trainers (up and down stairs all day long so comfort is the order of the day) and whatever feels cool.  This week it has been knee length floaty skirts (horrible with the trainers and fat legs) and pinched T-Shirts off the hubby.  Looked a mess but I was comfy and relatively cool which in 90% humidity for most of the week is the most important thing.  i want NORMAL BRITISH SUMMER back NOW!

True about high humidity.  I moved here from Missouri where the humidity in summer runs about 90%.  Right now in Phoenix we're at 115 degrees and 55% humidity.  This is our monsoon season but we haven't had much rain in the past 9 years so we're technically in a drought.

I definitely understand where you're coming from, TG.  I'm lucky, we get to wear shorts year round at my office.  I work in customer service and don't have face-to-face contact with customers.  That uniform of yours looks like it would make the heat and humidity even worse.

I'm enjoying myself, chattering here, listening to PotC1 sondtrack VERY loud - on my headphones, since the rest of the family (minus teenage daughter of course) has gone to bed.

And yeah your description sounds like a GOOD "typical" danish summer. The realisty used to be more like 21 degrees, but these last few years... it's been more like 31 >_<

It's just TOO HOT!

I don't cope well with heat. Partially because we have indoor-only cats, so we can't just open all doors and window to the max or they'll fall/run outside.

There's something to be said for indoor cats.  We have a tom with a death wish who has had 3 motor vehicle related incidents so how he's still ticking along is beyond me - but he is and right now he's giving me the hard stare and then looking at the door - methinks he wishes to go to the boudoir.  Yes, he's spoilt and gets a large chunk of the bed :o  The girls are more sensible and just come home covered in allsorts from rolling in neighbours shrubbery and bringing worms home for some reason.

Yodelling for Twyfords tends to only happen to me after sleeping on it and then I have the queasies for hours afterwards and nothing shifts them.  Suffice to say I no longer drink much - unless there's Newcastle Brown Ale on the go and then I'm in with both feet and blow the next day!

Yeah, 21 - 22 tats what we usually get.  It maybe hit 25 twice last year here in the North west but this year, 25 has been a cool one - of course I run a service department for an AC company so my days are fun cough.  Hope they are right with 20 for early next week - I can;thandle this heat, I'm not used to it sniffles

I bought her V3 Corset and i'm having tremendous fun with it, i'm a sucker for corsets and hers might not be the most elaborate but is certainly one of those simple amazing things you can't live without if you're a fetish clothes lover like me. Though i can't really use one, i might as well imagine it in my images :-)
