I thought so, darn it, and the final render was so pretty! Maybe I'll just post the funky finger version anyway. hahaha
Thanks for the wacro tip also.

Would it be at all possible to fix the finger in post work? Assuming you have Photoshop
or Paint Shop Pro, couldn't you just select the finger, cut it, and reposition it?
You could load the model up by itself and render it with the dress so that the finger, in the correct position would come through on the render and copy and paste it into your image. You may, if your lights were destroyed have todo a little skin matching, but you should be able to come up with a satisfactory conclusion.
I'm no guru, but there's a thought.

Ok, this is a first for me with Poser, and it could very well be a common problem that has to be delt with and has no answer.
Alrighty, last night I was working on a piece and after about 3 hours, I saved it and shut my computer down, it was for all intent and purposes perfect. When I went back to do some post work on it, I got a completely screwed up scene. The model was the only thing still in place, but, everything else was in either a zero position or totally flat on the ground plane. The lights were deleted out and only the original model was showing in the drop down menu for the items in the picture, even though everything else is showing.
This is a strange new experience, I was all set to put this in my gallery and found a finger out of place...that's why I went back to the poser file.
So, tell me, oh Poser Guru people...is it a lost cause, and just try to recreate the piece?
