Subject: Where art thou?

ReBorne ( ) posted Mon, 28 August 2006 at 9:54 PM · edited Thu, 28 November 2024 at 3:57 AM

Hey guys!

Ok, the older folks here will know I used to hang around quite a bit, then disappear, then reappear as if I was just here yesterday.  (Ringing bells now, TP? lol)  They'll also know I used to reside in England - but now I'm sitting at the foot of the Rockies in Colorado.... and yes, it was a long walk 'n' swim!

Anyways, there's new names a'plenty here since last time I was around, so does anyone else think it's a good time for a quick recap and re-introduction for everyone, make sure we all know each other?!? I love knowing where everyone is from without having to trawl through profiles and my memory is shi....erm, pretty bad, so a single place of reference is cool.

Yeah? No?  I get upset when people don't agree with me, mind........ lip starts to quiver

he he he

Mike (",)

BTW, where the hell is Dandy?!? lol

Hi Rad!  So, from your comment I take it that people living in Vancouver live in Igloos then?!?  I like Canadians.  They're good fodder for South Park........ ;-)

Hey, Onslow baby!!! Wanna kiss to go with that hug, laddie? puckers up

Nah, just kidding........ don't like the way you use your tongue.... :-p

Hi Mike.

I'm Marlene.I think we 'met' here briefly, once before. I'm in Merrick,Long Island...about 40 minutes from Manhattan. It's about as suburban as you can get...Think 'The Wonder Years',(if you know that old tv show) and you get a pretty close idea.

The only thing we have that probably rivals people in population,is squirrels...at least in my yard...and attic...sigh... :^/

LOL at you and Richard. You two seem rather 'cosy',lol. ;^)

Bruce,where are you in NYS?

Andreas...You live next to Ulf?Ulf and I go way back!I didn't know!Tell him I say,hej!

And Rad...shhhhh...let's not start that again, lol.  (badum badum)  ;^)

I'll continue the trend of saying preference of living place and i would have to say somewhere warm and spanish speaking - central america maybe... that or zacko's holiday snaps ;)

How cool and  interesting. The lovely  'home' of Shakespeare.I'll bet you get your share of tourists,Rich. And how ironic that this thread is called,"Wherefore art thou?'...

Edit:Oops. It's not. It's 'Where art thou?'.Duh! ( Which makes more sense, because 'wherefore art thou' means ,'why are you'  which would be a whole different thread,I think, lol. )
