You can either export through File>Export in DS or you need to start up Bryce and then through the Create tab go to the DAZ logo,click on it and open up DS where you load your scene.Then you either use the Bryce tab to return to Bryce if you have it OR you just shut down DS and your scene should eventually load up in Bryce. :)
Ah haaaa..... and it turned out I had the wrong version of DAZ, which didn't help. OK, next question. I purchased a pack of poses, but I don't see how the heck you are supposed to apply them to the figure. There is no tab for a pose library and going through the content tab doesn't get me to any poses. So ..... heeeeelp.

hmm!I can only say I usually find pose sets under pose if they are purchased from daz.Do you make sure that if given the choice you go to the folder where DS is stored on your HD and click on contents and install into that file.The Daz installer does all the rest.
If you are installing from a zip from another site then you need to read the read me file to get an idea where to place the differing files.Frankly sometimes they forget to do this..Then I just navigate to content/runtime/libraries/and put it in whatever file seems appropriate. ie.pose/props/hair...However this is not ideal as you will inevitably have to search for either the object or the textures.I find by a bactrack search up to the runtime file usually solves this problem.
Do you have a Poser content directory set up? If so, and if you unzipped the poses to that folder or pointed the installer to that folder, and if the zip was set up correctly, then you should find a folder in the Pose library which holds your new poses (if there was a readme that should tell you what the folder is called).
So, the program doesn't automatically set up a Poser content directory? This is something that I am supposed to do? OK .... how?
And, yes .... my content was downloaded and run from another drive. I'll have to see where I unzipped it to. I download everything to a large drive that is automatically backed up, but it does not back up my programs directory, so I prefer not to put stuff there the loss of which would kill me.

Edit>Preferences>Directories tab.
Click the long button at the top and select Poser content directories (it always shows DAZ|Studio content directories when you open the tab)
You could click the Search button, but I don't recommend it as it will grab too many things given half a chance) - instead click the Add button and select the folder that holds the "Runtime" folder with your unzipped content.
Question along the same line... I took Michael, INJ'd all the head and body morphs, and modified the heck out of him. Succeeded in making him look like a skinny old man with a big nose, and it renders fine... but...
My desire was to export a PZ2 and make it available as a freebie character. I can Save As Pose Preset, but that isn't the same thing...Is this option only available in Poser, not D|S?

Just a note.....if you go to your daz/studio/content/runtime/geometry folder and find the folder for the dog, it will have an .obj file there. Copy that file and paste it into a seperate newly created folder anywhere on your hard drive. Then you can import that file into Bryce and there is your dog but he will be untextured. Click on "object>ungroup" at the top toolbar and then click an empty spot anywhere on the background to deselect the entire dog and you then can select any part of the dog seperately and apply a material file to it. Once you have it all materialized then go back and reverse what you did before and regroup him, then save him as a .br5 file and you will have him.
Render it (Cmd(Mac)/Ctrl(Win)-r), then File>Save last render. If you want an image larger than the viewport, go to Render>Render settings and enter a new size, then pick new window as the destination (or pick File as the destination, and click the ... button to give it a name and format without having to use the File menu). While you're in the Render settings dialogue, try dragging the slider at the top all the way to the right for a better quality (but slower) software render, or try some of the other positions for various versions of the hardware render.

I've got a blank scene with the DAZ dog all posed. I'd like to export him to some sort of format I can bring into Bryce. I've tried everything I can think of, but so far I can't get to the export command.
Is this something that can only be done with a special plugin?? Or am I missing something.
