I wonder if there are a tutorial out there where it is shown how to make the handle on a jug.

Thanks in advance for all help.

there is a tutorial for making a hole in a box,  basicaly the technique is the same except you extrude the hole to make a cylinder, then curve it to meet back with the jug.  make another hole in the where the cylinder meets it, and then attach the end of the cylinder to the jug using ctrl m or f .   edit the verticies manualy before you do the extrusion of the cylinder to be the handel

I found another tutorial. But I don't remember the adress.

There you built the shape of half your jug. mug or cup. whatever you wanna make and uses the spin function. then you extrude from that form the handles. using make vertixes and fill faces to join one part of the handle to the other one.

By using the knife function you can also make the edges more marked. then you just aplay subsurf to get it nice and smooth. :)

Hope it helped. It was just a different way of making it.
