Thanks for the feedback so far."I would suggest possibly figures of a few other presidents. maybe also Tony Blair and John Howard"
We have a couple of other non-U.S based world figures in the works. Not ready to talk about which ones exactly.
"Hey, Sydney looks a little like Hilary sitting behind that big desk."
Probably a coincidence ;) Hillary will be the next figure we release.
"Is "W" based off the G2 males?"
There is an option for compatibility with G2 Males to utilize the clothing. There will also be another option that is a unique character.
Here's a couple of more images from the series:
Neat idea. 3 questions.
When will the figure be ready ?
Will there be any restrictions like with Daz's Anne Marie Goddard figure ?
I ask because something like this could be used, for example poltical humour that some folks may not like very much (waves and agrees with Seatletim).
How much we talking here ?
OK 4 :)
Is the brain sold seperately like on the real thing :)

No, ther will be no restrictions. Bush is a public figure and, as such, ge is fair game for likenesses, etc. Once he's out of office, it will be another story tho, becasue he will return toi being a private citizen. Bill clinton might be a problem because he is a private citizen. Hillary, however, being a senator, is a public figure. Same with Blair and Howard (prime ministers of, respectively, the UK and Australia) and any other currently serving world leaders.
As much as I'd like to see a Vicente Fox figure, that might not be possible as he is no longer president of Mexico and is back to private citizen status.
Any dead presidents are also fair game as the private citizen laws only cover the living.
As for the political humor, that woyld be covered by the constitution so the fact that people didn't like it would be irrelevant (every president without exception, from washington on up, has been subjected to it ).

an example of early political humour is this statement I found in an 1802 newspaper that I had in a collection of old newspapers when I was a teenager: An elephant had died in a zoo recently and they commented on it by saying "The late elephant reminds us of the federalists in that it carried great weight but was of little use in the community"
That same paper had a leter to the editor berating Jefferson as "the worst president this republic has seen" (which wasn't really saying much as there had only been 2 other presidents to compare him with).

you know, I dislike this guy so much, I wouldn't even buy him to do anti-bush political humor images. My hard drive would probably start sending data to the CIA or Homeland Security or something with him on there. I'll pass.

yes, these guys are the ones that made that model.

I don't really like him either, but I support him because the majority of American Muslims voted for him, so I support him partly as a show of solidarity with my fellow Muslims, but also to show that I appreciate the fact that American Muslims have finally started working with the system instead of complaining about it, so I choose to respect their choice as a way of encouraging this new trend in western Islam.

Brain and exit strategy sold separately. May require wind up to set in action. Real president (Dick Cheney) not included...
Excellent likeness of our esteemed village idiot!
Thanks!

In view of some of the charming epithets being hurled at President Bush in this thread, I'm reminded of the somewhat similar terms of endearment that were used in regard to President Lincoln in his day. Among others, there was 'Scarecrow', 'Babboon' was a favorite, and of curse 'Hairy Ape.' Not all of these terms of abuse were employed by southerners either.

PS: Whatever else anyone might think, there have been considerably less terrorist bombing in Israel since Bush removed their bankroller, Saddam Hussein, from power -and for that I bless his name everyday: May the L-rd of Host be with Pres. Bush, and grant him success in all his endavors!

Quote - I thought Mogadeet already had likenesses available for "W", Hillary, Cheney and Bill for the Millenium 3 characters. David
You're right Dave he does and fine looking ones at that. Well you can get the whole crew of them, mimic them in a nice little video file and upload it to jib-jab. As fas as the whole political scene don't get me started as I still draw a paycheck from the Fed. LOL!

Thanks Jeff - wasn't sure there.Nice to know it'll be OK to follow the likes of Hogarth and Steve Bell.
For those folks outside the UK with a leftwing slant - Bell is highly recommended - link above.
Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.
I would suggest a prop for bonzo bush swinging on a lampshade sticking unpealed bannanas up himself while trying speak english which he aint to bright at.
Then have jesus tony blair as his poodle yaking for dog buisckits while the chinese premier looking through the window saying to bin laden, well chum you did it, you have helped bring about the collapse of america.
And the helping of making china the world's no 1 super power soon.
P.s bin laden do anythingto the new chinese empire and we will wipe you off the face of the earth.
Be a nice scene to render.
Then can we have a John Kerry, screaming Al Gore, & Teddyboy & the all the haters from the DNC party swinging from the trees too? It would be fun to render. and our new Speaker Of The House, jumping up and down on her seat screaming shes wants a new jet for security reasons? Would make for a cool cartoon render.

"Great, but he looks too young here. Also his face is thinner. Get an older man texture and apply that."Great input. Thanks.
"Are the clothes modelled as part of the figure or are they seperate conforming clothes?"
The renders are done with the newly released Business Clothing at Content Paradise and the G2 Male compatible version. There is a new texture set coming called White House Wardrobe that was used for GW's clothing.
Maybe Vanishing Point could do Marine One ;)
Thanks to everyone for their input on this product.

Steve Bell not related to Art Bell is he???????? For me I'm neither this left wing or right wing crap just a plain ol American wanting his elected officials to do the jobs WE elected them to do. IF they have a hard time doing that task then they need to go. Nuff said. If Americans can't ask for that then we no longer need a Constitution or a B of R cause that means Americans don't know how to use them. Freedom is more then what cell phone service plan you can choose from and the right to vote mean more than voting in a popularity contest or who looks good. I think that has gone on long enough.
Awesome likeness!
Still, this should be in Product Showcase unless it's a freebie (which I doubt) :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
Does this figure come fully clothed? Cannot begin to contemplate the idea of looking at even a digital representation of W without clothing.
Also I plan to purchase the figure and dress him in drag. I'll be transferring the morphs from this figure onto the latest Batlab Goth Dominatrix outfit.
I also heard a rumour that anyone knowingly using this figure in any disrespectful way would have to answer to the Fox News security forces which will be unleashed by Bill O'Reilly, is it true?
"Maybe Vanishing Point could do Marine One ;)"
Done and Airforce one as well ;)
"Steve Bell not related to Art Bell is he????????"
Who's Art Bell ?
"and the right to vote mean more than voting in a popularity contest"
With you there.
Here in the UK crp like Big Brother is deemed more important than Uncle Tony latest btt kissing sesson with George.
Jugoth - your're a very naughy person - love the idea :)

> Quote - Who's Art Bell ?
Art Bell is a superb icon for the current era.
IIRC, he's now semi-retired from his old talk radio show -- although I seem to remember hearing that he still pops in from time to time.
Art Bell is a great advocate of matters such as UFO's and conspiracy theories. Very appropriate material to a thread like this one -- in view of some of the opinions being offered (hinted at?) here.
Here's a link to the website of his old radio show. Some other guy is hosting it now. I highly recommend that show to all Bush bashers. They'll find kindred spirits calling in there on a regular basis.
metabog said *"I also heard a rumour that anyone knowingly using this figure in any disrespectful way would have to answer to the Fox News security forces which will be unleashed by Bill O'Reilly, is it true?"
*....well how about a Bill O'Reilly Poser figure ? .... and seeing as Bill O'Reilly has appeared on The View how about poser action figures for the ladies of The View ?
nice figure, but as TG pointed out this should be in Product Showcase or the Developers forum.
and before flames erupt, can i suggest we not talk politics? no one's going to win because people already pretty much believe what they're going to believe. no forum post is going to change that. i think it's probably better to focus on what we have in common (like what we create) rather than what we don't.
if we're going to argue, let it at least be about something related to why we're here.
Also, the hair looks like plastic - like the original Poser hair. Get some real-looking hair for him. Ali made some nice short M3 hair called Smart Hair, but it's no longer available.
Also, Dave mentioned Saddam Hussein - now there's a model potential!!!!!! "Included, Saddam model, gallows, normal and broken neck poses" Arghhhhhhhh!
Quote - I cannot wait to animate a Jesus vs George Bush caged death match.
He's for sale now btw:

This thread is just wrong for a couple of reasons. 1) This thread, as entertaining as it may be, is purely a commercial advertisement. This point has been brought up by several of Renderosity's guests - and ignored by the moderators (one of which has taken part). Further, Renderosity stands to make no $$$ on this product. So, why has this topic not been moved to an appropriate forum? 2) A respected forum moderator posts multiple times in this thread with potentially incendiary religious and political comments (again, humorous as they might be). Perhaps I misunderstand, but I've typically seen mods trying to keep discussions from getting too political or religious. Has there been a change that now allows commercial advertising directly from the vendor in the midst of an informational forum? I'm not wanting to dog anyone, but, either the TOS is to be taken serious or it snot. I can understand the original poster might be new to R'osity and not aware of the TOS he/she agreed to. But for a moderator...? Hmm, maybe its the buddy system or something.
Well, as an American, I share the sentiment. I am appalled and deeply ashamed of our rogue president. In fact, I can think of no person I despise so intensely! Nevertheless, this product is not free. Hatred of any individual, public or not, doesn't seem to be a valid reason for selectively enforcing/not enforcing the TOS. It makes a mockery of the title Forum Moderator. Anyway, its not my site. When I've had enough paid programming, I shut off the TV. Same holds true here.
