Posette is doing her part for the war effort by helping guide RAF pilots to intercept Jerry or is that "Gerry". Anyway she is having a problem with her headset. I've created a very basic model of a headset. I want to make it into a smart prop. I followed the directions in the poser manual but it doesnt seem to work for some reason. I import my headset as an obj object, move it into position and parent it to the head. I then do the follow try and create a smart prop. 1)Open the Prop palette 2)Click on Add to library (+) 3)I click on Select Subset to select the headset object 4)Name the prop and click OK The manual says that if your prop has a parent element, a popup box will appear asking if you want to create this as smart prop. I never get this popup box. It just saves the prop. Is there something Im leaving out? I set the parent of the headset to posette head before I start the prop saving process. I have also noticed something else that is strange. I click the Select Subset button and in the Hierarchy Selection I select the headset object. I click OK and if I go back in by clicking the Select Subset again, I notice the headset is no longer selected. Does anyone have any advice?

Parent the headset to the head... ensure the headset's selected... save to prop library don't open the subset... it'll ask if yu want to save as a smart prop.. click yes. tis done... if you open up the subset you "disconnect" the parenting... Cheers

Cool uniform on her...can I ask where you got it, or did you make it yourself? Dragontales

ISO made that uniform, it's actually and japanese ploice uniform, but as steven is showing it, it can be played with for different effect.

The jacket comes from ISO's Japanese Police uniform. The only thing I did was add the belt. ISO also made a really good navy uniform too. I don't have his web address right off hand. I cleaned out my bookmarks and unfortunately it was one of the ones that was deleted. But I saw a discussion about him in the forum a couple of days ago. His website might be listed in there. Thanks Wizzard for the help. This will help a lot.

You can get it here, plus LOTS of other great clothes and a fantastic suit of armor... I "think" the British term was "Jerry". One of the very successful items the Allies copied from the Germans was the "Jerry Can", which was a highly useful gas can design... I also have some RAF posters I can post if you like, including the classic one with the Winston Churchill quote "Never Have So Many, Owed So Few..."

I don't know if its going to show up or not as some people can't see Geocities posts...
