LOL! It's already organized (a little...). In each folder, a made folders like "DAZ People", then "V3", "M3", etc, then "clothes", "hair", etc. But there are certainly some things i put in there, but i will never use.
Copy your runtime to an external drive and re-install Poser to your new machine as a clean install.
Then delete the runtime in your new install and replace it with the copy from the external drive.
I have used this method successfully twice last year when I had 2 hard drives die on me, I used a clean install and then used my backed up runtime in place of the original, no problems!!
Injustice will be avenged.

I agree with fixer's method and I'll add a few tips to go with it.
If you can spare the cash, get Correct Reference(from hogsoft.com) and run it BEFORE you remove your existing runtime. This will clean up your texture/object links to all of the cr2s and props in your library.
Another backup method would be to buy another internal harddrive, temporarily install it into your existing computer and copy your runtime to it. Then install this new harddrive into your new machine as a slave drive and install poser onto it. The point here is to have Poser completely isolated from your main harddrive (usually C) which contains the OS. I've learned that Poser tends to run a bit faster this way.
After your new install, do a search here in the forums for tips on setting up virtual memory with Poser. Bear in mind I know next to nothing about Vista, so it's possible that your new computer (with Vista?) may not need any VM tinkering.
Good luck and have fun with your new computer!

...and when the day is dawning...I have to say goodbye...a last look back into...your broken eyes.
I strongly, strongly urge you to avoid Vista. See if you can get Windows XP 64-bit edition, it has all of the technical advantages of Vista (able to address very large amounts of memory, can run 64-bit software) and none of the disadvantages. Many people have complained here about Poser not working well under Vista, and I believe I recall similar complaints about Vue.
Even if your new machine comes with Vista, really think about just buying a separate copy of Windows XP 64-bit (about $80 US), and installing that on your new machine.
Well, i just don't want Vista, i prefer running a stable XP, and avoid some crashes. But i just didn't know i could instal Windows XP over a Vista machine. Does the CPU have to be compatible to pass from Vista to XP?
If it runs Vista, it will run Windows XP 64-bit. If you've never installed XP before it can be a little bit tricky, most of the hard part is getting network cards to work, but other than that it isn't too bad. Lots of documentation out there on installing XP, and some of the posters here or in Hardware/Tech forum can help if needed.
after I got my new puter, I renamed my puter and hd the same as the old puter so that the paths would be the same on my pz3s etc. Then I copied my runtime over the new instal runtime as someone above suggested. Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

Hi all!
I'm about to buy a new computer (stronger than the actual). What would be the better way to re-instal my runtimes?
- to take all my zip files and do all the process again?
- or to copy and paste my entire runtimes from the old CPU to the brand new?
Second process would be simplier, but i'm thinking first one could permit me to make some organisation between things i use a lot and things i have no use of.
In the same time, it would take me sooooooooo much time, so i don't know.
What is better to do in your mind? And also, what is the better way to organise runtimes?
