Egads, its been hovering at 110 here in Texas for the last 3 days...so humid and hot outside it almost takes your breath away....I have been staying indoors as much as possible, and keeping all blinds and doors closed...feel like Im in a cave :laugh:

Now I hear we have a tropical storm coming in sometime tomorrow evening...should cool down a bit hopefully....then there is TS Dean out there in the gulf...~shudders~ hope it goes away instead of turning into a hurricane.

Yea, I used to drink like a fish...just dont have the ummph for it anymore..and I stayed broke all the time LOL!  I drink very rarely these days..but I am with ya on the virtual sloshing...can get as virtual drunk as I want, and no hangover :lol:

It's 20 degrees Celcius today (68 degrees Farenheit). I actually closed my living room window because I was a bit chilly.  In fact I think I'm going to go crawl into my warm waterbed and have a nap.

I don't envy you guys with the really hot temperatures. At the end of July we had several days of that with the highest humidex temperature being 127 degrees!  I don't have air conditioning and I thought I was going to die. I've never felt so sick from the heat in my life. The cooler temperatures we are having is a nice change.

My honey was in texas this last weekend and brought the heat and humidity home.
