Subject: Motion Blur

Hi

I am trying to render with motion blur, but am not achieving it. There is no "how to" in the manual, so I am asking here first before setting off on a quest for the information. There are no settings in Render Setup either, where I would have expected it. I even looked in the camera parameters. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
VRG

Are you trying to achieve motion blur, or Depth of Field (which are two different things)  DOF you can achieve via render...motion blur you have to postwork, I believe....

Do you have an example of what you're trying to achieve?

Thanks for your reply.

I am trying to put some motion blur on that thar ME262. The Studio manual alludes to Studio being able to do motion blur, but does not say how. The DOF works really well but I have a need for speed;-)

DAZ|studio does not do motion blur at this time.  The 3Delight engine is capable of it but the feature is not turned on in the current 2.x release of studio.  Photoshop will be your friend here.

Thanks theSea

I wonder if it was oversight or not enough time on Daz's part? Hopefully it will be available in the next version. BTW I really enjoy the way Studio is working now.

Have a great day,
VRG
