Subject: Wardrobe Wizard and Dynamic Clothing

Does WW2 convert dynamic as well as conforming clothes?  I have been using the original version for some time, and am still happy with it, but it does not seem to be able to do its stuff with dynamic clothing. I will likely upgrade at some point, but the ability to handle both types of clothing would provide additional motivation.

What I am trying to do is get dynamic clothing designed for a standard figure like V3 to better fit a morphed version of the character before draping it in the materials room.  I'm just experimenting with dynamic clothes at the moment, but am having problems getting them to fit anything but unmorphed, default figures. Is this doable?  Will WW2 help?

Dynamic clothes work with any figure or morph, you may need to do some scale adjustments, but WW won't work with them becuase it is not needed. I think you are having problems with the cloth simulation itself, have you looked at some tutorials? There are tons of good ones on here :-)

Wardrobe Wizard 2 will work with both conforming and dynamic clothing models.

Phil... Glad to hear WW2 supports dynamic clothes.  I just bought the upgrade.

The thrick with dynamic cloth is to not rely on draping. Start out with an unmorphed figure in frame 1, at zero pose, and set the pose and morph at frame 20 or thereabouts.
If the morph calls for shrinking (i.e.e when the morphted figure has a smaller waisted than the unmorphed figure), you could start out by scaling the X and Z dimensions of the figure to 80%-90% at frame 1, and back to 100% at frame 20.
Wardrobe Wizard will do the job, but in general, it isn't needed when dealing with dynamic cloth.

I use WW2 all the time to rescale dynamic clothing without a hassle at all.

 I've also made conforming clothes (conforming to V3) from dynamic clothes (made for Jessi). WW2 can do that.

DazStudio users can't use Dynamic Cloth since DS doesn't support it.

BUT if they have WW2, they can import the dynamic cloth (.pp2) and convert that into conforming clothing that can used in Daz Studio.

Pretty sweet, huh?  ^^
